What is a Connection in VibeCFO?
A Connection is any source of knowledge or action EVA can reach - an API integration (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, XPM, SIMPRO), an MCP, a database, a document, or a website. Bundle several together and EVA can research, advise, or act across all of them in a single task.
How is a Connection different from an integration?
Integrations are one type of Connection - the live API links that bring in your transactional data. Connections is the broader idea that also includes MCPs (which push actions out to other tools), databases, documents and websites.
What are MCPs?
MCPs (Model Context Protocol servers) run on VibeCFO's platform. They let EVA both pull data and push real actions back out to other systems - like drafting a document straight into Ignition. We host them so you don't have to wire anything up. We don't chase a vanity count - we build direct MCPs for the systems you actually run, so EVA can give you a sourced answer you can trust.
Can EVA use my own documents and databases?
Yes. Upload strategy docs, policies or last year's engagement letters and connect databases like MySQL or Postgres, and EVA reads and reasons over them alongside your live accounting data.
