EVA handles the routine.
Pulses that watch your numbers, Actions that update your tools, and workflows that run themselves. The repetitive work of a finance team - monitored, done, and chained together - so it just happens.
One umbrella. Growing set of powers.
Automations start with watching and doing. Pulses keep an eye on your numbers, MCP Actions change things in your other systems, and scheduled workflows tie them together.
Pulses
EVA watches every KPI and tells you the moment one moves - a threshold crossed, a value shifting between buckets, or a scheduled digest. Like a concerned supplier charge that lands higher than normal, flagged before it's paid.
Explore Pulses →MCP Actions
Through MCPs, EVA pushes real changes back into the tools you already use - draft an engagement letter into Ignition, raise an invoice in Xero, create a task in your job system - then leaves it ready for your review.
See EVA Agent →Scheduled & triggered workflows
Chain steps together on a schedule or a trigger - when this happens, do that. Pulses, Actions and EVA's multi-step research combine into routines that simply run. More automation types are on the way.
Being built - early access available on request.
You stay in control. EVA prepares the work - you approve with one click. You decide which Pulses run and which Actions EVA may take.

Give EVA a goal and she plans the steps herself - pulling data across Connections, iterating on each one, and writing the result back into your tools. No hand-holding between steps. See the full picture on the EVA Agent page.
Give her one instruction and the right Connections. EVA plans the steps herself, does the work, and lands a real result - chaining together any of these:
“Draft Client X’s new engagement letter and send it to Ignition.”
XPM“What’s happened with our customers over the last 12 months?”
Xero - 12 months“Here’s a screenshot of my Excel report - rebuild it live.”
“Alert me if a supplier bills my card more than usual.”
“Build this month’s board report and PDF it.”
“Combine our strategy targets with sales for a plan-vs-actual view.”

Automations, explained
What are Automations in VibeCFO?
Automations are the routine work EVA handles for you without being asked each time. Today that means Pulses (watching your numbers and alerting you) and MCP Actions (pushing real changes back into your tools). Scheduled and triggered workflows are expanding from there.
What's the difference between a Pulse and an Action?
A Pulse watches - it monitors a metric and alerts you when it moves. An Action does - through an MCP, EVA makes a real change in another system, like drafting an invoice in Xero or an engagement letter in Ignition. Pair them and a Pulse can trigger an Action.
Can an alert automatically kick off an action?
Yes. You can chain them: when a number crosses a threshold, EVA can compile a concern-analysis document, raise a task, or push an update to a connected tool - automatically.
Do I stay in control of what EVA automates?
Always. You decide which Pulses run and which Actions EVA may take. Many teams have EVA prepare the work - a draft, a report, a task - ready for a one-click review and approve.
Your numbers are already telling a story.
Let EVA read it, and act on it. Out of the box, governed and secure, ready the moment you ask.
