What is the difference between VibeCFO and Lovable?

Can Lovable connect to Xero?
Not out of the box. Lovable builds the application; the connection to Xero, the modelling of that data and the refresh schedule are things you build and then own. That is the same for every operational system beside the ledger.
Is a Lovable app a real alternative to a reporting platform?
For a single view over data you already have centralised, it can be. For the case where your data is in nine systems that do not agree with each other, the app is the easy part and the reconciliation is the product.
What happens when a vendor changes their API?
In a generated app, it breaks and somebody has to fix it. In VibeCFO that is our problem - the pipelines are maintained, including the Friday a vendor ships a breaking change.
