Where does Power BI actually run?
Power BI Embedded and the workspaces holding your .pbix files run on Microsoft Azure - that is how Power BI works, and it applies only if you turn this add-on on. Your VibeCFO warehouse itself stays on AWS in your own region; the add-on reads from it.
Do I have to give up Power BI to use VibeCFO?
No. The add-on points Power BI at the same governed warehouse VibeCFO builds from your systems, so your existing reports and skills carry over and you stop maintaining the pipeline underneath them.
What does the Power BI add-on actually give me?
A connection from Power BI to your VibeCFO warehouse - your accounting ledger, job system, roster, stock and ecommerce already extracted, modelled and reconciled to each other, refreshed nightly and maintained by us.
Why not just connect Power BI to Xero directly?
Power BI has no pipeline of its own. Connecting it to Xero, and then to every operational system beside it, is a build you own and maintain forever - and it breaks when a vendor ships a change. That build is the thing this replaces.
Does row-level security carry across?
The governance is applied in the warehouse, so what a given connection can read is already scoped. You still model your own security inside Power BI for anything you build there.
