VibeCFO vs Joiin.
Joiin is a fast, inexpensive way to consolidate a group of companies - chart of accounts mapping, intercompany eliminations, multi-currency and scheduled report packs across Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage and more, priced by the number of companies with users unlimited. VibeCFO is the alternative when the group's questions reach past the ledger into job, roster, stock or ecommerce systems such as simPRO, Deputy, Cin7 Core or Shopify, which Joiin takes in only as uploaded or typed non-financial data.
Consolidation is the product and it is very good at it: chart of accounts mapping, intercompany eliminations, multi-currency reporting and your own exchange rates at group level, across Xero, QuickBooks Online and Intuit Enterprise Suite, MYOB, Sage, FreeAgent, Zoho Books, Pennylane, Puzzle and Fortnox - six of which (Sage, FreeAgent, Zoho Books, Pennylane, Puzzle and Fortnox) we do not connect. Users, reports and clients are unlimited on every plan and the price moves only with the number of companies. Its AI answers questions in plain language on every plan, on Pro and Max its agents build report packs from a description and Stripe metrics come in natively, and packs can be scheduled to send weekly or monthly. It promises a first report in minutes, the 14-day trial runs on the top plan without a card, and it is quicker to a first result than we are.
Checked against their own site in October 2026, Joiin connects accounting ledgers (Xero, QuickBooks Online and Intuit Enterprise Suite, MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Business, Sage, FreeAgent, Zoho Books, Pennylane, Puzzle and Fortnox), spreadsheets and Stripe. It names no job management, rostering, stock, ecommerce platform or point of sale system; operational figures arrive as non-financial data you upload by CSV or type in. Limiting a person to particular companies applies to read-only users, and a firm's teammates see every client. Nothing on its site describes its AI holding your goals; it works from the entities you connect.
The same eleven questions we ask of everyone.
Graded by who does the work, not by who could theoretically manage it. The bottom row goes against us, because it is true.
| WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED | VibeCFO | Joiin |
|---|---|---|
| WHAT IT CAN SEE | ||
| Your accounting ledger | Included | Included |
| Operational systemsjobs, rosters, stock, ecommerce, point of sale | Included | You build and maintain it |
| Your own databases and documents | Included | You build and maintain it |
| VibeCFO includes all three; Joiin includes your accounting ledger, but leaves your operational systems and your own databases and documents for you to build and maintain. | ||
| WHAT IT DOES WITH IT | ||
| Hands you an answer, not a dataset | Included | Included |
| Composed for your business, not a template | Included | Included |
| Knows your goals, not just your numbers | Included | Not offered |
| Does the work and sends it, unasked | Included | Included |
| VibeCFO includes all four; Joiin includes an answer rather than a dataset, reports composed for your business and work done and sent unasked, but does not offer a working knowledge of your goals. | ||
| WHO IS ALLOWED TO SEE WHAT | ||
| Row-level security, before the query runs | Included | Not offered |
| Both limit who sees what, at different depths: Joiin can restrict read-only users to chosen companies and keeps its AI inside each user's permissions, though editors, admins and a firm's teammates see every client; VibeCFO applies row-level security to every user before any query runs. | ||

VibeCFO and Joiin, answered.
What is the difference between VibeCFO and Joiin?
Joiin is a fast, inexpensive way to consolidate a group of companies - chart of accounts mapping, intercompany eliminations, multi-currency and scheduled report packs across Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage and more, priced by the number of companies with users unlimited. VibeCFO is the alternative when the group's questions reach past the ledger into job, roster, stock or ecommerce systems such as simPRO, Deputy, Cin7 Core or Shopify, which Joiin takes in only as uploaded or typed non-financial data.
What is the best alternative to Joiin?
It depends what is missing. If the job is consolidating a group off its ledgers - mapping charts of accounts, eliminating intercompany balances, converting currencies - Joiin is purpose-built for it and priced per company with users unlimited. VibeCFO is the alternative when the questions need the systems around the ledger as well, such as jobs, rosters, stock or online sales, or when a firm needs each person limited to their own clients.
Does Joiin connect to job management, rostering or stock systems?
Not directly. Checked against Joiin's own site in October 2026, it connects accounting ledgers, spreadsheets and Stripe, and names no job management, rostering, stock, ecommerce platform or point of sale system. Figures such as headcount or units sold can be uploaded by CSV or typed in as non-financial data on Pro and Max, and the Max plan's API and Zapier bring accounting data in. VibeCFO reads simPRO, WorkflowMax, Deputy, Cin7 Core, Unleashed and Shopify directly.
Is Joiin cheaper than VibeCFO?
For consolidation on its own, it may well be. Joiin's calculator prices by the number of companies: in October 2026, A$50 a month for one company on Core, or A$480 a year, with Pro and Max above that and users, reports and clients unlimited on every plan. VibeCFO is priced in Australian dollars per user, per integration and per Pulse, with no base fee, and the calculator on the pricing page works it out for your own stack. Run both calculators on your own numbers rather than trusting either page.
